  • Kept the bidding pipeline on trivago intelligence platform up-to-date to enable advertisers to bid and prioritized the issues for the engineering team
  • Ensured the correctness of the bid flow and provided evidence of accuracy for audits
  • Provided consultancy to advertisers to improve their bidding efficiency and campaign performance by understanding the advertisers’ business model, individual goals and analyzing data with data analysts
  • Set the roadmap for campaign recommendations by understanding and prioritizing advertiser needs, analyzing the revenue impact and feasibility
  • Led the launch of CPA Bid Recommendations and managed the release communication
  • Set the data output and UX requirements for CPA Bid Recommendations for developers and data scientists

Product Manager of Marketplace-Advertiser Quality (10.2018 – 10.2020)

I was responsible for data products to assess the hotel rate accuracy of the advertisers to improve the user experience by impacting the auction in favor of advertisers with high price accuracy. I managed two products to evaluate the rate accuracy and rate competitiveness of advertisers:

  • Rate Accuracy: Products to assess the price accuracy of the advertisers and impact the auction in favour of accurate prices to improve the user experience.
  • Price Competitiveness: Products to understand the price positioning of trivago and trivago advertisers in the market compared to its competitors.
  • Developed the strategy to improve the hotel rate accuracy between trivago and advertiser’s own website
  • Led the extension of the rate accuracy products to the 15 new markets in alignment with the stakeholders
  • Prioritized the extension of the rate accuracy products to the new markets by doing the competitor research, user research and by considering the regulations and revenue impact
  • Set the requirements for the new rate quality assessment score (Rate Accuracy Check) with the legal team
  • Led the development of Rate Accuracy Check from scratch and provided direction to the data scientists
  • Led the communications of Rate Accuracy Check to advertisers and created the training materials
  • Initiated and planned “Rate Model Switch Project” (analysis which increased the rate accuracy more than 20%) globally by convincing the leadership and getting the buy-in from partners via quantitative and qualitative research, regulation analyzes and competitor
  • Led the EoL of “Landing Page Score” product from the auction which had a 7% impact on the advertisers’ C2B and communicated the roadmap and analysis with leadership, stakeholders and advertisers
  • Managed a team of 11 people consists of data scientists, software developers, and a quality assurance team
